**The Opportunity**

A major Australian Bank is looking for a PMO Analyst (Senior Program Analyst) to join their High Net Worth Domain on an initial 6 month contract with scope for extension.

**The Role**

As a Senior Program Analyst, you will play a vital role in our central High Net Worth Domain Project Management Office (PMO). Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of critical operations, including financial management, reporting, quality control, communication, stakeholder management, and knowledge harvesting throughout the Planning and Delivery Management phases. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the success of several portfolio initiatives. Primary Responsibilities will include:

- **Portfolio Consolidated Financial Reporting**: Compile and analyse project financials, ensuring the quality control of financial information across the portfolio. Provide analysis and insights into portfolio financials. Prepare monthly consolidated portfolio financial reports. Monitor spend and forecasts against portfolio funds allocation.
- **Month-End Timelines and Reminders**: Communicate with all projects to inform them of required month-end activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables.
- **Resource Supply/Demand Management**: Monitor and report on resource supply and demand across the portfolio, collaborating closely with the ECD Workforce Management teams. Conduct resource stocktakes as needed.
- **General Support to the PMO Manager**: Assist the PMO Manager in adhering to governance requirements, Agile framework, NWOW, ODM/OLAF, minimum standards, use of tools and processes, administrative tasks, and implementing appropriate quality assurance for projects.
- **General Support to Portfolio Resources**: Provide guidance and support to portfolio resources in relation to financial processes. Develop guides where applicable and offer coaching to enhance financial expertise within the portfolio.

**About You**

In order to be a successful applicant, you will have demonstrated experience working within banking and or financial services. You will also have:

- Strong experience as a Senior Program Analyst or in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in project management and financial operations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex financial data.
- Autonomous and self-starting mindset, capable of working independently and driving initiatives forward.
- Proficient in project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and Agile practices.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to interact effectively with diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in financial reporting and resource management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Experience with SharePoint site administration is preferred **.**
