Reporting to the Production Manager, you will undertake daily supervision of workflows and employee tasks to ensure efficient laundry services are provided to a wide range of clients
What you'll do
Programming and operation of commercial laundry equipment to meet production needs (as required)
Assist with performance appraisals and development of staff
Allocation of staff duties to ensure daily production requirements are met
Ensure relevant Australian Standards for healthcare linen are met
Identify training requirements for operational staff
Respond to client complaints and escalate appropriately
Provide feedback on targets and shortages to Production Managers (as required)
Stock control of consumables
General production administration tasks
About you
**We are searching for someone who**:
Thinks strategically - Clearly recognise broad underlying production issues and resolve them accordingly.
Has the ability to reallocate resources to satisfy rapidly changing demands
Has demonstrated ability to effectively use automated machinery and some computerised equipment
Has the ability to develop collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and team members and ability to effectively communicate and influence staff.
