Operations Officer

Operations Officer

Great Southern Bank is seeking a new Operations Officer within the Banking Operations team for a 6-month secondment (max term contract) opportunity. You will be part of the Payment Operations team and manage customer transaction disputes, insurance claims as well as manual payment requests and exception processing. This hybrid position is based in our Brisbane CBD office with the flexibility to work from home two days per week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess loan repayment and consumer credit insurance claims
- Actioning manual payment requests
- Reviewing and investigating card and transaction dispute cases
- Maintaining records to meet reporting requirements

Your experience
- Experience in customer service or financial services industry
- Knowledge of consumer credit insurance policies, administration processes and claims procedures will be advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Professional phone manner with keen attention to detail
