Sought after for their rugged and dependable design, their industrial elevator branch provides a durable vertical access solution with models available to meet the specific needs of a range of industries and environments. **YOUR ROLE** The Service Technician is responsible for inspecting and maintaining facade access equipment within Australian stds and manufacturer's instructions. **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Assist Service Supervisors with scoping of hazard and fault resolution. - Assess the work site and organize the start of work efficiently. - Ensure quality works are always carried out - Maintain a clean and tidy work environment - Proactively identify, assess, and document hazards for customer-owned plants and equipment - Operate BMUs and provide operator familiarisation training (inductions) - Undertake BMU commissioning (and recommissioning) under supervision - Undertake routine and annual inspections of BMU "Swing Stage Carrier" and fall-arrest systems. - Perform limited maintenance tasks (e.g., re-greasing, oil changes) in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's instructions. **KEY REQUIREMENTS** - Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role or hands-on experience in a mechanical & maintenance fitting position - Thoroughness and attention to detail - Strong mechanical aptitude - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry - White Card - Work Safely at heights (RIIWHS204E) - Class C Driver's license - The above position is open only to applicants who have a current right to work in Australia._ - Applicants who do not have a current right to work In Australia will unfortunately not be considered and are respectfully asked not to apply._ - Apply Explore Similar Jobs For a full range of jobs available across the country, explore our vacancies today **Job Title** **Location** **Date Posted
