Service Technician

Are you an available and experiencedService Technician looking for your next big opportunity? Chandler Macleod is working with a Tier 1 mining operator assisting in their search for a skilled and safety-focused Service Technician. This opportunity is offered on a contract for 4.5 months commencing December 2025  This is a FIFO position offered on an  8:6: 7:7 (Days and Nights) roster Ex Perth.

About the role

 As a service technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing a fleet of heavy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations

  • Service and maintain Komatsu 830E trucks, Loaders WD900, CAT graders and watercarts, and Dozers D11
  • Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals

About you

  • Full Australian work rights required
  • Valid manual Drivers licence - C class
  • National police clearance
  • Relevent trade qualification required for assisting Heavy Diesel Fitters
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Proven experience with servicing Komatsu 830 E, Loaders WD 900, Auxiliary CAT graders and watercarts, and Dozers D11
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work safely, collaboratively, and independently
