Service Technician

Adaptive Resourcing is proud to represent our client - a highly successful Australian business involved in maintenance and distribution of capital equipment and with branches spread over the country. Continued growth in the variety of sectors they service (agriculture, mining, civil etc) has led to the requirement for several new team members to join.

The Service Technician is responsible for scheduled servicing of new and used equipment including heavy machinery, diesel motors, compressors, generators and lighting towers in the local workshop or client sites in an efficient and timely manner. Our client is a leading distributor for brands such as JCB, Atlas Copco, Ditch Witch, Komptech and Dynapac

We are seeking the skills of Diesel Motor Mechanics, Automotive Electricians and Motor Mechanics.

These positions are full time and attract a base salary of between $65k - $85k

**Principle Accountabilities**
- Servicing and maintaining machinery under
- Diagnosis and fault finding in the mechanical assessment of machinery for repair, maintenance and
- Making sure warranty RTS times are adhered
- Appearance of supplied company uniforms to be neat and tidy at all
- Ensuring machinery is serviced as per guidelines and carried out in a timely
- Ensuring workshop is kept neat and
- All online training modules are completed and maintained as
- Uploading of all data logs, computers, pictures and other relevant information regarding workshop
- All paperwork to be completed correctly and submitted to the service administrator at the end of each working
- Ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and customers as well as reporting any safety incidents or concerns to the Service Manager and/or the HR
- Ensure compliance with the relevant OH&S requirements
- Ensure compliance and communication strategies for managing OH&S risks in the
- Contribute to the participative arrangements and communication strategies for managing OH&S risks in the workplace
- Conformance to quality systems and procedures

**Role Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Proven ability to maintain construction equipment and machinery
- Minimum 3 years in a similar position
- Sound mechanical knowledge
- Qualifications in either automotive electrician, diesel mechanic or motor mechanic trades
- Ability to comply with company procedures and policies
