The role
- We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Mechanic/_Heavy Diesel Fitter_ to join our busy Kenwick Workshop. We are open to considering Mechanics/_Fi_tters_ from all industries who are ready to contribute to our dynamic team.
- As a Service Technician, your primary responsibilities will include performing Pre delivery _(_Equipment preparations)_ inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a range of mining equipment and subcomponents. You will report to the Workshop Supervisor and work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Key tasks include:_- Delivery of brand-new machinery to customers across Australia.-
- Complete machine rebuilds.-
- Component rebuilds.-
- Supporting the latest technologies, such as autonomous machinery, battery-electric systems, and remote monitoring equipment.**Profile**:
- Relevant Trade Qualification (desired)-
- Previous experience working on a variety of mining equipment (Sandvik equipment would be an advantage)-
- Excellent communication_ _skills-
