I am currently partnered with a Federal Government Agency in Geelong CBD who is seeking an APS4 Complaints Officer to join their Participant Experience Delivery Group within their Operations and Support Branch.
- Temporary Assignment | 12 months with the potential to extend
- Full time hours | Monday - Friday | 37.5hr week
- Work from home flexibility (3 days in the office, 2 from home)

**Your new role**

As the APS4 Complaints Officer, you will work standard full time business hours from Monday to Friday, supporting the coordination of complaints received by the Agency, including resolving at point of entry, assessing, recording and referring as required. Other responsibilities of the role include:

- Contacting relevant stakeholders to confirm receipt of referred complaints and gather information.
- Escalating complaints in accordance with established Agency complaint handling processes.
- Contributing to record keeping activities to ensure team records are accurate and current.
- Coordinating correspondence, briefing and reporting functions to the branch as needed.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed as the APS4 Complaints Officer, you will possess:

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to empathise and listen
- IT proficiency including MS Office
- Excellent organisation with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Experience in customer service, complaint handling, case management or Government desired

**Please note, to be considered for this role, you MUST:

- Be an Australian Citizen
- Undergo a National Criminal History Check
- Be willing to undergo further compliance and background checks/clearances
