**The role**

We are seeking an APS4 level Procurement Officer to join the Geelong team paying an hourly rate of $42.54 + Super, initial 12-month contracts with extensions available.

**Key accountabilities will include**:

- Entering, extracting and manipulating data in the Agency systems to enable accurate Agency reporting.
- Managing all corporate master data from third party systems and within NDIA systems in accordance with established procedures.
- Providing support and training for ongoing system and data projects.
- Initiating the drafting of procurement and contract related documentation.
- Processing invoices and tracking spend against budgets

**Skills and experience**:

- Strong communication and writing skills, being able to write succinctly across communications platforms and for different audiences.
- Building cohesive relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to manage the co-design procurement activities encouraging diverse views to work collaboratively towards mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Experience in maintaining procedures for data collection, input, management and quality control
- Maintaining thorough and auditable records and documentation.
- Experience managing competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
- Government experience highly desirable
