APS4 Executive Assistant role in Geelong, 12 Month Contract

I am partnered with a Federal Government Agency, in the heart of Geelong to recruit an APS4 Executive Assistant for a 12-month, full-time temporary assignment.

**Your new role**

As the APS4 Executive Assistant, you will be accountable under general direction to undertake moderately complex activities and tasks within established procedures and guidance. You will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders. You will provide executive support and team membership position that will work within defined parameters relating to their area of responsibility.

As the APS4 Executive Assistant you will be responsible for, but not limited to
- Completing operational and/or administrative tasks of moderate complexity or difficulty.
- Preparing replies to correspondence, briefing material, and handling confidential papers.
- Scheduling meetings and preparing documentation for committees and projects.
- Undertaking research and investigations as requested.
- Coordinating official meetings, travel arrangements and official functions
- Providing high level administrative support on personnel and financial matters

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful as the APS4 Executive Assistant, you will demonstrate:

- Strong organisational skills
- The ability to be self motivated to be productive to conduct work
- Strong attention to detail
- Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Government experience
- Executive Assistant experience
- Project officer experience
- Working with Childrens check (or happy to obtain)
- Australian Citizen
