My Federal Government Client is currently seeking an APS4 Administration Assistant for their Policy, Advice & Research Division, for an immediate 12-month temporary assignment, with the potential to extend.

**Your new role**
- Preparing replies to correspondence, briefing material and handling confidential papers.
- Scheduling meetings and preparing documentation for committees and projects.
- Undertaking research and investigations as requested.
- Coordinating official meetings, travel arrangements and official functions on behalf of the Strategic Advisory team.
- Providing high level administrative support on personnel and financial matters within the Agency.
- Assisting the Executive Assistant and Divisional Support Officer with administrative and/or operational tasks as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed as the APS4 Administration Officer, you will need:

- Experience in an administration support, executive assistant or similar support role
- Strong administration and coordination support experience
- Very strong calendar management and coordination skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- IT proficiency including MS Office, experience coordinating meetings and preparing documentation
- Experience in a government role is highly regarded
- Australian Citizenship
