Operations Customer Service Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated team player in the role of Operations Customer Service Manager to join us on a full-time basis in our Banksmeadow office.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Dedication to absolute customer satisfaction - communicating regularly with clients to establish excellent rapport.
- Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with service provided before, during and after delivery of their goods and resolving any problems that may arise.
- Excellent rapport with all clients, team members and shareholders - assessing customers needs, recommending and explaining our services to them. Promoting our services on a daily basis to as many people as possible.
- Managing and giving guidance to the Customer Service team efficiently.
- Work hand in hand with Sales Department to maintain and increase client base.
- Designing and executing post-sales services to monitor customer satisfaction, guarantee the performance of our service, and enhance and refine the services offered.
- Offering guidance and constructive feedback to team members while aiding in the recruitment process.
- Encouraging improved productivity / profitability in the Customer Service Department by implementing strategies to maximize customer loyalty.
- Creating and reinforcing Fracht’s image to the general public which will result in increased client base, sales and use of our services.
- Keeping up to date with our services provided, new services available from shipping lines and airlines and offering these to existing and prospective clients.
- Assist team members / other departments as required.
- Regular discussions with management regarding client changes / suggestions for improvement / corrective actions taken.
- Developing and implementing strategies to build and maintain Fracht’s reputation and image with clients, shareholders and prospective customers.
- Regularly obtain testimonials and referrals from existing client base.
- Maximise profits by working in the smartest possible manner with a minimum of mistakes.
This role is suited to someone with at least three years’ of relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry with the following qualities and skills:
- Good understanding of the global and domestic freight industry
- Excellent communication, management and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Good computer skills - one year of CW1 experience is essential
- Knowledge and understanding of UK trade and freight requirements
- Outgoing personality
- Strong organisational and self-motivation skills
A rewarding salary package of between $70,000 and $85,000 per annum plus superannuation. Plus you will have the opportunity to share in company profits after one year of employment.
