The Role**:INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT OFFICER** - DGT Employment & Training

Utilise your networking and partnerships skills.

Bring positive energy and work workforce development opportunities within the local community and supporting businesses.

Deliver innovative employment projects to assist businesses meet skills and workforce needs.

Work with businesses to identify employment opportunities.

**No direct industry experience necessary**

Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, a great communicator and be able to engage with and relate to a diverse range of people.

Demonstrate excellence in customer and client service (internal and external).

Be a team player and be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Demonstrate previous success in meeting targets and KPIs.

Have a high level of attention to detail and manage competing priorities.

Hold valid Australian Drivers Licence;
Be eligible to obtain a Working Children Blue Card (at DGT’s expense);
Relevant experience in the training and skills development sector will be highly regarded

Customer Service networking experience is mandatory

This is a 12-month contract, full-time position, working mainly Monday to Friday with some after hours work required to attend events and meetings.
