Trainer and Assessor

1st Class are looking for a Trainer and assessor who can provide on the job training, meaning that they are required to operate machinery for our clients whilst training in a 1 on 1 environment. You will be delivering training and assessment for RII30820 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations and RII30920 Certificate II in Civil Construction. This includes both theory and practical activities. **Skills & Experience**: - All trainers must possess the Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or higher. - Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations - Relevant and current vocational industry currency (minimum of 3 years’ experience in the industry sector). - Experience delivering relevant and engaging training in a classroom and workplace settings to a diverse range of students. - Ability to successfully provide a National Police clearance and Working with Children check. - HR Licence - Excavator and Skid Steer Tickets - White Card - Sound verbal and written communication skills. - Good administration skills including using Microsoft Office products. - Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a team. **Your day-to-day tasks will include** - Assisting with training needs analyses for 1st Class Earthworx employees and our student Initiative Program - Working with front-line employees to deliver training, coaching, and mentoring to meet the identified training and development needs - Promote enrolment into industry qualification training to front-line employees and provide learning and assessment support for trainees and apprentices - Be apart of regular onboarding/induction workshops to meet the needs of new employees - Helping to identify and develop 1st Class Earthworx "core skill standards" and assess these and Plant Competencies (Verifications of Competency) for 1st Class Earthworx employees - Assist with developing and delivering communication and leadership training for front-line employees. - Contribute to daily operation as a Plant Operator The 1st Class Group of Companies is a diversified service provider, delivering excellence in training and assessment, recruitment, earthworx, and logistics.
