- **Clerk Grade 5/6 base salary ($97,027 - $107,059) plus employer's contribution to superannuation (12%) and annual leave loading**

Expressions of interest are invited from ongoing and temporary employees within the NSW Public Sector who wish to be considered for this temporary role for a period up to 12 months.

**About the Role**
The assistant project officer works as a part of a team that support and deliver community infrastructure outcomes for Aboriginal communities. The role forms part of the Community and Partnerships branch within Aboriginal Affairs group.

**Your day-to-day**
- Provide Project and Operational support on monitoring and reporting on Project deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality measures are in line with approved Project plans.
- Manage research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of Project briefs to support informed decision making and planning.
- Maintain and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding Project status and implementation issues.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff.

- **Interpersonal and Communication Skills**: Confidence in communicating sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- **Adaptability and Problem Solving**:Demonstrated experience in resolving issues in a dynamic and unpredictable environment that is fast paced with varied tasks.
- **Teamwork and Reliability**: Experience working in a collaborative and supportive team utilising discretion when handling sensitive information.
- **Meticulous attention to detail**: Experience ensure the integrity, reliability, accuracy of data and data systems.
