- **Project Strategy and Planning**:
- Develop and implement the organization's strategy in alignment with its business goals.
- Plan long-term strategies for IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and network resources.
- Advise senior management on current trends, new technologies, and innovations.
- **Management of Operations**:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the organization's computer systems, networks, and telecommunications.
- Ensure all systems and platforms are working efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor performance and manage troubleshooting and technical support.
- **Team Leadership and Supervision**:
- Lead and manage a team of professionals, including IT support staff, systems administrators, and software developers.
- Allocate tasks, manage workloads, and ensure team members have the necessary skills and tools.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- **Budgeting and Financial Management**:
- Develop and manage budgets for projects and operations.
- Negotiate with vendors for hardware, software, and services to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Control the budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
- **Project Management**:
- Manage projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and expansions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the organization's requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and evaluate outcomes.
- **Risk Management and Security**:
- Identify potential risks related to infrastructure and implement measures to mitigate them.
- Ensure that data security protocols are in place, including safeguarding against cyber threats and data breaches.
- Maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding security and data protection.
- **Vendor and Stakeholder Management**:
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Coordinate and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure that vendors meet agreed-upon terms.
- Liaise with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective use of resources.
- **Systems Development and Maintenance**:
- Ensure that systems are scalable, secure, and meet business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with software or hardware.
- **Technology Research and Innovation**:
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the field.
- Evaluate and introduce new tools, systems, or methodologies that can improve operational efficiency or provide competitive advantages.
- **Support and Troubleshooting**:
- Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot problems related to hardware, software, and networks.
- Manage and oversee the help desk or support team to ensure effective response to user queries.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:
