**The Role**
If you are looking for an interesting and rewarding career in policy management at the leading edge of technology, then a role in the Department of Defence’s Advanced Strategic Capabilities team is the opportunity for you.
In this role you will lead a team of policy and security specialists responsible for developing and maintaining the policy and processes to maintain the security and integrity of our most advanced capabilities. These policies and procedures will align with our Defence, security and international obligations. Your responsibilities will extend to the development and delivery of a security education campaign, and the implementation of a continuous improvement process.
This role offers a variety of duties and the opportunity to make a real difference - with your valued contribution to supporting advanced technical and sensitive projects that impact on outcomes for Defence. You will contribute senior management reviews and presentations, as well as regular branch and divisional reporting.
Your ability to collaborate and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders will support your success in this position. You will actively develop key stakeholder relationships and will be required to identify relevant stakeholders’ expectations and concerns to develop and implement successful outcomes. This will involve engaging in complex problem solving across multiple projects, including some international engagement.

As part of the Advanced and Strategic Capabilities team within Force Integration Division, you will work in a fast paced, technically challenging and professional environment with dedicated team mates.
Management of our Advanced and Strategic Capabilities directly supports Defence’s mission to defend Australia and its National interests.
