HR Logix has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics Manager to join our logistics network based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Reporting to the Director, we are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager, based at Tullamarine, that will be responsible for leading all day-to-day operations of the Logistics and Transport. This full-time role is for someone who is energetic, self-motivated, and has an innate drive to succeed. This will suit someone with solid experience in Transport operations, looking for a role to make their own. The level of experience required will ensure that the Logistics Manager can deliver excellence in Transport operations and contribute significantly to customer service.

**About you**

You have a strong background in logistics and are a values-driven operational leader with a collaborative style having led strategically in complex, multi-site organizations. You will be a data-driven leader who makes informed decisions to drive organizational performance and is comfortable combining big-picture vision with practical implementation. Above all you are a proven leader with the agility to navigate shifting priorities in a dynamic environment and confident engaging at the Board level. The ability to travel to our Customer Site is a requirement of the role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement effective operational strategies to enhance overall company performance and achieve organizational goals.
- Oversee supply chain management, including vendor relationships, procurement, and logistics.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational performance. Identify opportunities for process optimization and increase profit margins.
- Lead, motivate, and empower a team of Allocators and operational Staff through effective & open communication, excellent leadership, regular performance feedback, and team building to maximize customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and team productivity.
- Use of standard tools and methods to ensure daily/weekly/monthly reporting, measuring, and control of resources, activity service performance, and cost.
- Ensure continuous improvement and share best practices implementation.
- Initiate and Implement optimization programs to achieve efficient activities and target continuous improvement on incurred unit costs.
- Resolve customer complaints and assist with onboarding new vendors.
- Explore opportunities to improve service levels in the most cost-efficient way.
- Ensure all resources are focused to achieve high-quality service performance.
- Ensure staff are trained identifying training needs and implementing programmes and people development strategies.
- A mature personality with good interpersonal skills, enabling you to relate to a diverse range of people.
- The ability to organize your work, set priorities, and meet reporting/statutory deadlines.
