**The Company**
Our client is an award-winning producer and seller of fine FMCG food products. With its headquarters in the Yarra Valley, this company aims to be the leader in its category while delivering quality products to its customers both nationally and internationally.
We are seeking a National Account Manager to develop and maintaining strong relationships with major supermarkets, distributors, and new and existing export customers. This growth focused role reports directly to the CEO
**The Role**
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver superior customer service and develop tailored sales solutions for customers.
- Build strong relationships with buyers to develop and grow existing business.
- Identify and proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities in domestic markets with a variety of channels and customers.
- Create and deliver new business and sales opportunities in export markets, and support distributors to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Manage trade spend and promotional planning, including promotional events that support the brand aspirations of the company and its customers.
- Participate in NPD meetings to provide market feedback and insights and discuss product development for supermarkets and other channels with agreed lead times.
- Develop realistic and sustainable sales forecasts for both domestic and international markets.
- Prepare and present monthly sales reports to show performance against plan
- Provide sales forecasts on a weekly basis to facilitate the Sales and Operational Planning Process.
**Additional Requirements**
- Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements including emergency procedures, reporting, wearing PPE, and food handling.
- Demonstrate the company values in all interactions. Be a brand ambassador and support similar behaviours among team members.
**The National Account Manager**:
The successful National Account Manager will be highly commercially focused, have exceptional verbal and numerical reasoning skills, bring a growth mindset, financial acumen, exemplary energy levels and enthusiasm to this challenging and exciting role. In addition, we will seek:
- A strong understanding of short and long sales cycles
- Budgeting, forecasting and executive level collaboration skills
- Proven Account Management skills within a FMCG environment.
- Category management experience
- Experience in the development and management of export sales
