Product Development Specialist

**Product Development Specialist, Wild Child**
- Reports to the Head of Quality & Product Development and works across all areas of new product development from brief to product approval and manufacture
- Liaises with clients, regulatory stakeholders and internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality products into the target market
- Manages technical and regulatory development projects for product approval in Australia, Europe, USA, Asia and other emerging markets and as per applicable GMP requirements
- Lists therapeutic goods in the ARTG, liaising with clients throughout the process
- Reviews client’s printed artwork for compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
- Assists in procurement and assessment of raw materials and collating of specifications, certifications and other documents required for regulatory and development purposes
- Assists in the expansion Wild Child’s formula portfolio, with particular focus on skin care, hair care formulations and innovative ingredients
- Liaises with external laboratories to arrange testing such as SPF, Water Resistance, PET, dermatological tests, and other claim tests, as per client’s requirements
- Assists in the design and evaluation of stability studies for cosmetic and therapeutic goods
- Trains R&D scientists in product development duties including formulation and evaluation of data
- Develops and maintains strong business relationships with clients
- Coordinates new product development projects

**About You**:

- Degree in formulation chemistry, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related
- Work experience in an R&D and GMP environment will be highly regarded
- Skills in the following: chemistry and formulation, regulatory affairs and compliance assessment, technical writing
- Strong communicator and people focused, with a genuine desire to foster a positive, proactive, and supportive working environment
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed with an uncompromised focus on quality, integrity, and safety
