An amazing opportunity for a People Partner Advisor to join The Star Entertainment in supporting our People Partnerships team in governing the stakeholder relationships across the business.

Through influencing and leveraging, you’ll be ensuring the People Plan is effectively implemented to guarantee operational requirements are met. As an SME, you’ll be providing quality advice and support to our mid-senior leaders and actively contributing to the implementation of People and Performance projects and activities.

This is a 12-months Part-time contract located in our Gold Coast office.

**About your new role**
- Partner closely with the People & Performance (P&P) teams to ensure alignment and provide business insights that meet the unique needs of the group or business unit
- Support the People Partnerships team in a range of broad generalist P&P activities
- Drive employee engagement and customer satisfaction activities and accountabilities with mid-senior level business leaders
- Coordinate the successful implementation of People & Performance initiatives by actioning change management approaches to overcome resistance, monitoring the effectivity of these initiatives and recommending relevant improvements
- Assist in coaching, developing and empowering leaders to ensure compliance with workplace legislation and company procedures

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Previous work experience in a HR-related role is essential, with management consulting experience preferred
- Exposure to/ability to quickly learn various awards, including the Hospitality Industry Award and separate Employee Agreements
- Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to consult, negotiate and communicate
- Exposure to a casino and/or hospitality environment preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite skills (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
