- about 8 hours agoWe are seeking a motivated Communications Advisor to work with our government client on the Gold Coast.
**The Opportunity**:
The Communications Advisor will provide strategic community and stakeholder management services for community engagement, media relations, issues management, public affairs, and stakeholder relationship management. This role is offered on a casual, full-time contract for 6 months with the option to extend (2x 12 months).
**Key responsibilities**:
- Provide support, training and advice relating to the project regarding communication strategies
- Develop, plan, and manage communication materials for the project
- Coordinate engaging activities for infrastructure projects
- Develop and implement strategies for stakeholder management, communication, activities, and policies
- Deliver all projects and initiatives complying with operational practises and standards of service and performance
**Requirements**:
- Current Class C drivers’ licence and own vehicle
- Successfully pass employment screening, including a criminal history check
- COVID Vaccination
- Hold White Card or ability to obtain
**About You**:
Ideally, you hold a degree or have work experience in communications, public relations or marketing.
