THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this position is responsible for providing quality strategic and day to day HR/ Employee relations advice and HR systems and service to Line Management and the People and Safety Team at City.
**Your key responsibilities will see you**:
- Provide quality strategic and day to day HR / Employee Relations advice to line managers and action recommendations
- Provide interpretation of Awards, Agreements and HR Policies to managers and Team Members
- Provide advice and direction on human resources and organisational change matters including major issues and emergent trends
- Supports the business to ensure key people management process are implemented in accordance with the business needs
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to develop effective solutions tightly aligned to key business requirements
**To be considered for this role you will have / be**:
- Degree in HR - mandatory or Certificate IV in HRM- essential
- Extensive knowledge of and experience in industrial and employee relations processes and procedures.
- Comprehensive understanding of Industrial Legislation, Enterprise Agreements and other relevant processes and related policies
- Demonstrated success outcomes in highly effective employee and industrial consultation strategies.
- Intermediate MS Office skills - essential
- High level numerical and analytical skills - preferred
