People & Culture Business Partner

Our Client is a 25+ year-old (and still growing) SaaS Product Company where people (employees and customers) are at the heart of everything they do.

We're seeking a
People & Culture Business Partner
to join their team in South-East Melbourne and play a pivotal role in shaping their workforce strategy, enhancing culture, and driving talent acquisition through a period of significant growth.

What you'll be doing

As the People & Culture Business Partner, you'll be the go-to advisor and driver of recruitment and HR initiatives across the business. Your focus will be on:

  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Strategy
    – Partner with managers to design recruitment strategies, manage end-to-end hiring processes, and build talent pipelines for future growth.
  • Workforce Planning
    – Forecast workforce needs, identify skills gaps, and support succession planning.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding
    – Create seamless employee journeys, from first day to farewell, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
  • HR Business Partnership
    – Advise leaders on team structures, performance, and culture, while supporting organisational change and growth.
  • Compliance & Policy
    – Ensure recruitment and HR practices comply with legislation and internal policies.
  • Performance & Development
    – Support performance management processes and contribute to career pathways and training initiatives.
  • Employer Branding
    – Champion our Client as an employer of choice through candidate experience, recruitment marketing, and engagement initiatives.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
    – Embed inclusive practices across HR and recruitment strategies, while supporting broader DEI goals.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in HR, with proven success in end-to-end recruitment and business partnering.
  • Strong sourcing skills and ability to attract top talent across functions and levels.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a consultative approach.
  • HR systems and ATS experience, with a data-driven mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and a genuine passion for people and culture.
