**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity to support the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) ministerial and board services team. You’ll be providing all-round high quality administrative support while you work at the centre of managing and coordinating the flow of information on NESA’s business operations.

Working closely with key internal and external stakeholders, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operations of incoming and outgoing information. Your eye for detail and ability to manage competing priorities will be highly valued as you support a diverse range of Ministerial correspondence, briefings, Cabinet and Parliamentary processes, National policy matters and reporting. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where your coordination and organisational skills will make a real impact.

On a day-to-day basis you will be:

- overseeing and coordinating the delivery of administrative and support services to ensure team/unit business needs are met
- monitoring and addressing complex and/or sensitive enquiries and issues to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues and response
- managing and coordinating the collection and collation of information, preparing reports on business unit performance, and making recommendations to improve efficiency, cost management and service delivery
- building effective working relationships with NESA colleagues and colleagues at other government agencies to support collaboration and information sharing.

**About You**

We’re looking for a natural coordinator, collaborator and problem solver - someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and brings strong attention to detail. Confident in juggling multiple priorities, you approach your work with a proactive and flexible mindset. Sensitive or contentious issues are handled with composure and professionalism, and you’re driven to investigate and resolve problems effectively.

You’ll bring experience in business administration, ministerial or secretariat services, or government processes, along with a solid understanding of the machinery of government and an awareness of current and emerging issues in education.
