**ABOUT THE ROLE...**

ActronAir is looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Officer to join our friendly and collaborative finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the essential business needs of the team in a hands-on accounts receivable position. This is a great permanent role for a person looking to progress their career and who can be hands on and take charge of the daily AR function. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity within a supportive team environment, with on-site parking available.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Ensure the effective management and processing of the day-to-day accounts receivable operations, including management of the credit ledger, daily banking and allocating of EFT and credit card receipts, customer account reconciliations and clearing of customer orders.
- Working closely with the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, providing support where required.
- Liaise with Head Office and Regional Offices, customers, sales team, and warehouse regarding customer account matters including overdue accounts, requesting remittances, investigating customer account queries.
- Debt collection including daily outbound collection calls, negotiating with customers to maintain debt and payment arrangements, weekly/daily reporting analysis review with the Finance Manager.
- Assist with managing the debt recovery process including working with our debt collection agencies.
- Month End Reporting.
- Supporting the Accounting team with ad hoc duties.

**ABOUT YOU...**

You are someone who has Impeccable verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills, you are professional and well organised.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Strong understanding of full function accounts receivable, including experience in cash collections, cash forecasting, customer analysis and reporting including end of month reports.
- Ability and skills to register and manage PPSR.
- Confident in acting as a liaison between customers and internal staff to facilitate the timely resolution of disputes and collection of delinquent accounts.
- The ability to build sound professional relationships and communicate effectively, both internally and externally, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, able to withstand challenges.
- Intermediate computer skills, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Passion for learning and development.
- Self-starter with a can-do, hands-on mindset with the ability to work autonomously as required.

**Relevant qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience within an Accounts Receivable Officer with the desire to progress your career in the future.
