What is the role?

Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Administration Officer - Triage Clinical Support Officer SHIELD.

The SHIELD Triage Clinical Support Officer will be required to assist AFP business through the provision of a variety of administrative and support functions. As a SHIELD Triage Clinical Support Team Member, you will be responsible for managing day to day administrative tasks that support the direction of the AFP within SHIELD services.

You will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.

What will you do?

**Duties may include but not limited to**:
Performing a range of office management activities
Providing high level administrative support to assist clinical services
Contributing to the development and implementation of corporate policies, processes and systems which enhance the delivery of AFP operational outcomes
Hard copy paper based filing and electronic filing
Database administration
Produce high quality internal and external correspondence
Answer queries/questions or refer enquiries
Maintain confidentiality of medical and personal information
Maintaining currency in administration processes and technical knowledge
Undertaking project and research work to support AFP business as required
Essential requirements
A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one
An ability to work in a high pressure area with changing demands
High level attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Desirable requirements

The following skills and/or experience would be highly regarded:
Experience using Microsoft Office products
Administration experience
Selection criteria
Organising your work, making sound decisions and achieving outcomes
Communicating and working effectively with other people
