**About the branch**
The Innovation and Technology Solutions branch is responsible for effectively driving AUSTRAC’s information technology strategies through maintenance of an effective and sustainable information and technical architecture and delivering future system design and enablers.

**About the role**
As Specialist, Networks, you will be a key member of the Networks Team within Innovation and Technology Solutions branch. In this position, you will work closely with other Infrastructure teams to ensure that all requirements are identified, impact assessed and implemented effectively. As part of the Networks Team, you will work collaboratively to ensure that the AUSTRAC IT Communications Network is secure, stable and effectively maintained, and ensure that the Network Communications environment follows industry best practice and that the associated security standards are implemented at all times. **What are we looking for?**
- Must possess a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching certification.
- Experience with Fortinet, F5, SolarWinds, Riverbeds, Juniper.
- Software experience working with UCM/CUC/IMP/TMS/CMS and Wireless/ISE/Prime.

**The key duties of the position include**:

- Build and manage effective working relationships with key stakeholders and the diverse technical and business teams.
- Administration and maintenance of AUSTRAC’s Network LAN/WAN/VPN.
- Assist in managing AUSTRAC’s unified communications platform.
- Contribute to the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of network problems.
- Act as first point of contact for all network related service requests and incidents.
- Ensure quality outputs for a team including the development of technical expertise.
- Conduct regular quality assurance of work area processes and manage identified risks.
