About the Role
A Federal Department require 2 x APS6 Geospatial resources to join them in supporting their environmental data, spatial capability, and evidence-based policy work. The Geospatial Developer and Spatial System Administrator will require strong skills across Esri ArcGIS platforms (ArcGIS Enterprise/Server, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online), Python scripting, FME for automation, and working with relational databases.
APS6 Spatial System Administrator
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain ArcGIS Server sites
- Provide technical leadership in the publishing and support of spatial web services
- Troubleshoot infrastructure & performance issues related to ArcGIS Server and spatial services
- Oversee system upgrades & backups
- Implement security protocols & documentation
Skills & Experience Required
- ArcGIS Enterprise/Server, ArcGIS Online, FME Flow, relational databases, automation scripts (Python, SQL, R, SPARQL), Git.
APS6 Geospatial Developer
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the process, analyse, and visualisation geospatial data
- Design, develop and deliver user centred tools, systems and processes
- Lead geospatial data integration & automation workflows
- Deliver user-centred platforms for policy and reporting
- Project leadership and communication skills, focussing on stakeholder engagement
Skills & Experience Required
- ArcGIS Pro, Python, SQL, FME, Power BI, Git, web development (HTML, JavaScript, Angular/React).
