**Location**: City of Melville Civic Centre
**Salary**: $89,406 - $95,984 pro-rata p.a. + 11.5% Super
**Employment Type**: 8 Months Fixed Term, Part-Time 0.6FTE (Parental Leave Cover)

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Coordinator of Stakeholder Engagement and collaborating closely with the Communications Team, you will be essential in crafting and executing stakeholder engagement strategies that align with our strategic objectives and best practices. Your role will involve offering expert guidance to business units to ensure consistent, high-quality engagement and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your efforts will deliver exceptional customer experiences and create engaging content to promote community involvement. You will support Quality Assurance principles and collaborate on innovative engagement methods. Additionally, you will establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, contributing to the evaluation and continuous improvement of engagement initiatives. You will also enhance community interactions by leveraging digital tools effectively and managing our engagement page within the Content Management System (CMS).

**About You**

To be considered, you will possess these essential requirements:

- Certificate in International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) engagement practices
- Minimum 2 years of community engagement experience in a similar role
- Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence

**How to Apply**
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of contemporary engagement principles, techniques, and practices, including the IAP2 Framework
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in the use of CMS or engagement platforms for community projects
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex messages that resonate with diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in conflict resolution and putting the customer at the centre of decision making
