Farris Care Services is on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Service Coordinator to oversee the scheduling and coordination of our dedicated support workers. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to lead a team, ensuring optimal staffing solutions and exceptional service delivery in alignment with our client needs.

**About the Role**: As a Service Coordinator, you will ensure the effective management of our support workers' schedules, matching the right personnel with client-specific requirements. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining staff and client satisfaction, addressing shift requests, and overseeing compliance with budgetary constraints. Your leadership will not only involve direct roster management but also guiding and mentoring other service coordinators, setting a standard of excellence across the team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and manage comprehensive staff rosters, ensuring efficient shift coverage and service delivery.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and oversee shift changes, maintaining seamless service continuity.
- Conduct performance evaluations, providing feedback and support to enhance team efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with employment and industry regulations in all scheduling activities.
- Monitor staff attendance, manage leave requests, and maintain accurate working hour records.
- Identify areas for process improvement in rostering and staff management.
- Collaborate with HR, operations, and support coordinators to coordinate participant and staff schedules effectively.
- Foster strong communication and relationships with NDIS participants, families, and stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in scheduling or roster management, project coordination, customer service management, logistics coordination or related roles.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing or leading a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and familiarity with scheduling software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and compliance checks including a WWCC, Criminal Record Check, and NDIS Screening Check.
