**About your new role**

**As an Exercise Physiologist at Better Rehab, your day could include**:

- Conducting assessments of neurological, psychosocial disability and disability participants in both home and clinic settings within a diverse and interesting NDIS caseload
- Assessing, evaluating and adjusting treatment to measure progress and effectiveness. whilst liaising with Physiotherapists
- Reviewing equipment needs, prescribing or referring onto specialist services as required, and ensuring appropriate education of equipment is provided to participants and their families
- Supporting participants to live their best lives through exercise recommendations and prescription, lifestyle modifications, healthy habit introduction and support, and general health and wellbeing advice.
- Supporting participants to improve their cardiovascular fitness, balance,
- Communicating with Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators and other professionals or third body parties as required involving participant therapy and progress
- Collaborating with your multidisciplinary team
- Celebrating “Weekly Wins” with your participants, their families, your colleagues, and your supportive Leadership Team
- Attending formal and informal opportunities for networking and learning and development across a national level

**About you**:

- You are passionate about making a difference
- You have tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology
- You have the desire to work in a disability and neurological community setting
- You embody Better Rehab’s values
- You have your own car and a valid driver’s license
- You can provide evidence of relevant registrations (ESSA) and proof of COVID vaccinations
