Lynas Rare Earths is an established ethical and environmentally responsible producer of rare earth materials, we are the world’s only significant producer of separated rare earth materials outside of China. Our rare earths deposit is one of the highest-grade Rare-Earth deposits in the world, boasting a mine life of 20+ years. The Rare Earths are mined and put through our initial processing at our Mt Weld site. Mt Weld will supply Rare Earth concentrate to the Kalgoorlie plant, where the Kalgoorlie plant will complete the cracking and leaching stage of processing.

**The Role**:
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a qualified and experienced IT Support Analyst to join our team based in Perth and provide IT services support to users in WA, primarily in Mt-Weld, Kalgoorlie & Perth offices. This role is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues, including PCs and peripherals in a networked environment, installing new devices, and documenting local configuration changes.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all desktop requirements are delivered in accordance with Corporate IT Standards
- Ensure all information systems and services are available to Australian personnel
- Travel to Kalgoorlie and Mt Weld 8 days per month and as required for urgent tasks
- Provide trouble shooting and corrective action for the resolution of IT hardware and software issues for the WA operations, or ensure issues are escalated as appropriate to the Infrastructure Lead or Senior Manager IT
- Liaise with service providers to ensure the desktop requirements of the WA Lynas operation are met
- Liaise with the Malaysian IT Team to ensure quality of service across Australia
- Assist the Malaysian IT Team as the WA representative for any IT related projects and ticketing task
- IT Support across the board for any IT-related projects and ticketing task
- Ensure hardware is sufficiently available for Australian personnel as approved and required.
- Develop and manage your own work schedule to ensure tasks are completed to quality and within required timeframes
- Maintain Lynas’ Occupational Health & Safety Policy, Environment Policy, and Quality Policy requirements.

**Requirements to the role**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in IT and relevant CompTIA A+ Certification, MCSE, MCSA will be an advantage with 5 years of desktop and Server support experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting IT hardware in a network environment
- Have a positive working attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills (both written & verbal), able to confidently interact with people of all cultures at all levels.
- Travel to our remote sites, Mt-Weld or Kalgoorlie fortnightly and as required.
