**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Engagement and Communication Coordinator to join Finance Business Solutions, Chancellery Division.

The Engagement and Communication Coordinator develops and implements communication and engagement strategies for Finance Business Solutions to improve knowledge and engagement of the broader QUT community. The position is responsible for identifying and implementing actions that improve knowledge of Finance activities and FBS transformation objectives. The position is responsible for providing engagement support to the Office of the Vice-President (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer in the day-to-day operations of FBS.

**About the Chancellery Division**

Chancellery Division is responsible for strategy, including Indigenous strategy, government relations and policy, assurance and risk, international, marketing and communications, and business development. The Chancellery Division is led by the Vice-Chancellor and President.

**About Finance Business Solutions**

Within the Chancellery, Finance Business Solutions (FBS) is responsible for a range of business functions to facilitate the ongoing financial and planning viability of the university in realising QUT’s strategic aims and objectives, whilst maintaining a customer centric approach when engaging with the university community, industry and government.

**What you need to succeed**

To thrive in this role, you will be someone who enjoys taking the initiative to provide excellent service and support across a broad range of activities each day.

You will demonstrate:

- Education, training/skills equivalent to an undergraduate qualification with at least four years relevant experience.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering engagement and communication strategies and plans through to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative, expert and engaging communication content, visual and text based, for consumption by a broad range of stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse group of stakeholders to build strong and beneficial partnerships.
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to identify opportunities for engagement with the broader QUT community.
- Demonstrated expertise in the coordination of events that appeal to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in working with competing priorities and delivering on organisational objectives through accountability and ownership.
