About Us

Archdiocesan Services provides specialist support across areas including technology, finance, property, HR, communications, and fundraising. The Communication and Engagement Office is home to the Catholic Foundation, Marketing, Communications, and The Catholic Leader teams. Together, we strengthen relationships with our communities, promote the mission of the Church, and secure philanthropic resources to support vital works.
About The Role
We are seeking a
Communication and Engagement Officer - Fundraising
to join our team. This role supports the Catholic Foundation through project coordination, administration, and donor engagement activities. You will work closely with the Director, Donor Relations and Donor Services teams to ensure smooth delivery of fundraising campaigns, parish engagement, and donor programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support for Catholic Foundation grants, including committee correspondence, meeting coordination, agendas, and minutes.
- Maintain accurate donor records and ensure compliance with data management protocols.
- Support parish communications by preparing updates, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely touchpoints.
- Assist with the planning and execution of annual fundraising campaigns and appeals, including managing timelines, liaising with vendors, and tracking expenses.
- Coordinate logistics for parish resource deliveries and donor programs.
- Prepare and send welcome packs to new donors, ensuring prompt and professional acknowledgment.
About You
You are a proactive and organised professional who enjoys supporting projects that make a real difference. You have excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage competing deadlines, and strong interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
Skills And Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in an administrative or project coordination role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with proven ability to prioritise tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database systems.
- Experience coordinating projects or events, with the ability to deliver on time.
- A collaborative team player with an understanding of, or affinity for, the mission of the Catholic Church.
