**About the role**

The primary purpose of this role is to provide front line leadership to a team of support workers providing person centred services to participants in home and in the community. The role requires exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to service delivery, compliance, and workforce management.

**About you**

You’ll be passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others - both participants and your team. You’ll have a strong background in disability services and the ability to coach, guide and develop others. Your key skills and experience will include:

- Minimum Cert III in Disability Services or Cert IV in Mental Health, or working towards
- Significant experience in a coordination or senior support worker role within Disability is essential including psychosocial disabilities
- Demonstrated understanding of Person-Centred Services, NDIS Standards and supporting Participants with multiple and complex needs
- The ability to understand and influence sustainability, workforce planning, retention, and utilization
- Experience with developing, coaching and supervising staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including relating and negotiating with Participants, Carers/families and colleagues
- Demonstrated experience with report writing and conducting plan reviews and assessments
- Understands common NDIS systems including Procura, PRODA
- Excellent IT systems and data management skills with expertise in using Microsoft Packages and NDIS systems including Procura, PRODA
- COVID vaccinations are preferred but not required
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
