**The opportunity**

As our Media Relations Specialist, you’ll be a key member of the Media Relations team, responsible for managing various media activities and dealing with a broad range of senior stakeholders, both across and external to the business, to communicate and advocate HESTA’s position on important and meaningful issues. This will include contributing to ongoing reporting, responding to regular inbound media enquiries, pitching new opportunities and stories to media, writing media releases, preparing briefing notes for the CEO and other senior stakeholders and supporting issues and crisis management. You will also provide strategic advice and contribute to long-term planning of Fund and key spokespeople profile building as well as advise on improvements to policy and process where appropriate.
