**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Technical Officer
- Grade 3** to be part of our WT Engineering Services, Communication Services Command team. The Technical Officer Grade 3 provides hands on and primary help desk support to the radio technical infrastructure utilised by the NSWPF to provide a coordinated approach to infrastructure management maintenance and operations needs of all uses.

**Target Question 1**:
Provide an example of your high level experience in digital conventional radio technologies, digital trunking networks and back haul linking technologies including Microwave, RF Links, VOIP and satellite.

**Target Question 2**:
Provide an example of your experience and understanding of IP broadband networks and how routers and switches are utilised in layer 2 and layer 3 networks. Also provide your knowledge of these networks and how they relate to Communication Centre architecture and associated subsystems.
