**ABOUT** **OUR PERTH OFFICE**

South32’s corporate office is based in the heart of Perth’s CBD. The corporate office houses key functions including HR, Finance, External Affairs, Sustainability Strategy, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Group Risk, Legal and Technical. Our office is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the Perth Underground Train Station.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role is a 12-month fixed-term position. This role will be at our corporate office in the heart of the Perth CBD. We understand and value the benefits flexibility brings and operate a hybrid work model (in the office and from home)

As the Principal Reporting, you will prepare the internal monthly HSE reports and annual external sustainability (HSE) data book, including leading the day-to-day relationship with Operations and Functions on matters related to consolidated HSE data.

Reporting to the Manager Internal Reporting, other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

- Provide technical advice to operation-based and functional teams on the South32 HSE Reporting System to enable effective collection, storage, verification, analysis, and reporting of HSE data at the operational and business levels.
- Lead the development and implementing the South32 HSEC Reporting Standard and associated business processes and tools, ensuring the effective deployment of the Standard across the business.
- Design and execute HSE reporting processes to inform Operations, Lead team and Board on tactical and strategic decisions.
- Lead the process to deliver the HSE data for South32’s annual sustainability report and the associated reporting assurance activities.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Previous experience in developing business analytics & dashboard solutions with Power BI or Tableau.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and visualise data with Excel.
- Knowledge of Sustainability frameworks and the implementation of the resources industry.
- Well organised with a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Previous experience in Sustainability systems within the resources industry.
- Highly collaborative, builds trust and respect by always acting with high ethical standards, objectivity, transparency, due care and professionalism.

Qualifications for this position are:

- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, HSE, Data Analytics, Finance or similar
