**The role**:
Medibank has a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity for a People and Culture Business Partner to work across our Finance, Legal and Member Health teams. You will be responsible for supporting leaders to manage their people priorities, with a specific emphasis on developing and rolling out programs focused on building culture and employee engagement. You will work across a highly caring and empathetic workforce implementing commercial and customer centred people initiatives that will improve both the employee and customer experience.

- Build capability, business outcomes and a high performing culture by partnering with senior leaders to find creative solutions, initiatives, and strategies to target opportunities, complex problems, and identified gaps.
- Measure the effectiveness of strategies and enhance business performance through the delivery of people and culture metric insights and analysis.
- Support the business in case and performance management to resolution, and thoughtfully manage workplace injury and illness cases.
- Effectively deliver on key cyclical HR activities and add value through the performance & rem review, talent & succession, goal setting and engagement processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Senior Executives, People Leaders, and Employees to pull all key partners into people plan delivery and develop and deliver against people plans.

**What can you bring?**

You are a qualified HR professional with demonstrated experience in partnering with high-volume businesses in a similar industry or corporate environment. You bring strong capability in coaching senior stakeholders on people related issues and partnering with them to build culture and employee engagement. Ideally, you will have experience working in a Centre of Excellent (COE) model and know how to effectively engage with and utilise your peers across the employee lifecycle. You are a self-starter who can quickly get up to speed on understanding business needs and can build trusted relationships quickly.
