**The Opportunity**
The Head of People and Culture is a strategically focused leadership position that will support and partner specifically with the Group Executive and Senior Executives of the Technology & Operations division.
The role will focus on supporting Senior Executives in managing complex people and culture issues and will lead and manage strategic and operational matters as they relate to the management and development of people within your client group.
Reporting to one of our Senior Executives of People and Culture, you will provide expert strategic advice, guidance and quality service to internal clients in relation to all HR matters and takes a leading role in creating the cultural and compliance framework to support the overall delivery of Medibank’s People and Culture Strategy.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Providing strategic advice to leaders in relation to their strategy and future business needs, and linking those to people requirements, plans and change programs.
- Providing interpretation and robust counsel to senior leaders regarding polices, programs and practices.
- Case management and resolution.
- Providing comprehensive advice and coaching to leaders on people and general management issues.
- Drawing upon the expertise of our well-established People & Culture Centres of Excellence; and
- Enabling the development and implementation of People & Culture programs and policies.
**About you**
You are an experienced Human Resources professional who brings expert knowledge of generalist or specialist human resources policies and practices and significant capability in business partnering. A strategic leader who can lead by example. You are a creative, original thinker, not constrained by the status quo and continuously striving to improve the way we work. With exceptional people leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills you will be able to drive innovation by partnering with the business through initiatives to solve business challenges and when targeting opportunities.
