**The Opportunity**

We’re looking for a remarkable human who relishes working with customer-facing teams to coach and advise leaders to achieve great customer and business outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture (P&C), the P&C Advisor will work across the Medibank and ahm Contact Centre teams to support the development and implementation of people plans aimed at improving the experience for our employees.

As part of the People, Culture & Sustainability (PC&S) function, this role will work with Centre of Excellence teams to manage operational HR matters as well as work on key strategic initiatives across the PC&S function.

- Consider opportunities to align practices and address common problems and opportunities across the Medibank and ahm contact centre teams
- Get involved in shaping the future of contact centres across Medibank and ahm
- Provide advice, guidance, and direction to senior leaders and people leaders on a diverse range of people and culture matters including performance management, Employee Relations, absenteeism, talent management, and succession planning
- Support and drive the delivery of divisional People Plans, leading initiatives within the specific client groups
- Work collaboratively with PC&S Centres of Excellence to deliver exceptional service to stakeholders
- Provide interpretation and counsel to People Leaders on HR Policies, programs, and practices
- Proactively and commercially manage cases and performance management to resolution
- Effectively deliver and add value to the HR calendar activities through performance and reward review cycles, talent and succession planning, engagement survey analysis, and action planning
- Actively participate and deliver project work for the PC&S function as required to improve the employee experience and to meet business objectives

**About you**

As Medibank continues to break boundaries in the way that we think and do things, we are looking for an experienced HR Advisor who thrives in environments where they can get involved in strategy, leave their mark, and grow.

Previous experience with large customer-facing teams is preferable as you will be accountable for 1 or more large client groups. If you enjoy variation, this role will be perfect for you as we love to provide our HR team opportunities to work across our business partner client groups.

As an HR Advisor, you will have proven experience in a similar role. We will support you on your HR Advisor journey by providing learning development opportunities and offering guidance as required.
