**About the role**:
Partnering with the State Managers in Victoria/Tasmania and Queensland you will be a key part of Leadership teams for each market, supporting our newly formed Convenience and Mobility business. Reporting to the General Manager People and Culture Convenience and Mobility, this role is instrumental to delivering people strategy through great operational P&C business partnership.
In this role you will be;
- Building talent and succession pipelines for operational leadership roles
- Ensuring identified talent is providing opportunities to participate in relevant leadership development programs to be ready for their next role
- Supporting and coaching Regional Operations (ROM) and Regional Area Manager (RAM) on generalist HR matters
- Analysing workforce data to drive strategy and decision making to developing and operationalising strategies to address attrition, absenteeism and looking at rostering efficiencies making sure our customer needs are met with the right people at the right times
- You will be key in driving engagement with focus on the Viva Energy Retail employee experience
- You will be support and advise on performance management and other HR matters
- Interaction with local representatives such as unions and other third parties
- Located in Melbourne or Brisbane, the role will require periodic travel to operational sites across Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland
