**About the opportunity**:

If you’re ready to make an impact, we invite you to join us at Uniting as the **Coordinator for GITS, Reconnect, and Rent **Choice Youth Programs.**

As a key member of our Youth Transitions team, you’ll oversee three life-changing programs, ensuring vulnerable young people and their families receive the support they need to achieve housing stability, rebuild relationships, and enhance their well-being. This is a multifaceted role where your leadership, strategic insight, and collaboration will make a lasting difference in the lives of those at risk of homelessness.

From managing multidisciplinary teams to forging partnerships across a broad geographical region, you’ll lead with purpose, ensuring every service is inclusive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based. Your role will be pivotal in shaping Uniting’s commitment to a brighter future for young people in need.
- Inspire and lead teams across GITS, Reconnect, and Rent Choice Youth programs to deliver exceptional outcomes for young people and families.
- Develop strategic partnerships with schools, housing services, and community organizations to maximize support for youth at risk.
- Ensure timely and effective responses to referrals, providing wrap-around support that restores stability and well-being.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, and innovation within your team.
- Oversee program operations, financial management, and reporting to ensure compliance with Uniting and government standards.

**Your Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum Bachelor of Social Science or related discipline.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire, support, and develop high-performing teams.
- A track record of building strategic partnerships and delivering programs in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Expertise in trauma-informed and evidence-based practices to support young people and families.
- Exceptional communication, time management, and conflict resolution skills.
- A current NSW Driver’s Licence and a current NSW WWCC.
