**Your new role**

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will join a cohesive team that works well together and maintains a positive and healthy working environment.

**The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for**
- Managing all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Maintaining historical records
- Paying employees expenses by verifying expense reports and preparing payments
- Paying vendors by scheduling pay runs and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
- Continuing to improve the payment process

**What you'll need to succeed**

This is a role for someone who can demonstrate strong experience in an accounts payable environment where you have been responsible for the end-end function.

You are a self-motivated individual who is a proactive problem solver with great organisational skills. You enjoy working with a diverse range of people and you have the ability to change direction and handle multiple tasks on a regular basis.
