**About this role**

Experience in asset management policy assurance processes, like the NSW Government’s Maturity Assessment process and Tool (MAT) is a requirement for this role.

**Crown Clerk 11/12**, starting salary from $39,787 - $161,663 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

**What you'll be doing**
- Support the implementation and development of NSW Health Asset Management strategies, policies and processes.
- Develop and support the NSW Heath Asset Management Policy and monitor asset systems to improve integration and alignment with future asset strategies.
- Accountability for the annual Asset Maturity Assessment Process and other assurance activities including financial performance.
- Manage and report asset services performance data to meet asset-related efficiency targets and performance measures.
- Drive system wide initiatives, frameworks and methodologies to ensure statutory compliance in maintenance and asset management.
- Drive initiatives to ensure asset renewal and efficiency is developed and optimised system-wide.
- Assist Health Entities to achieve 100% Minor Works and Equipment (MWE) data in the Asset Management Plans (AMP).
- Drive system-wide total expenditure (TOTEX) view of operational and capital expenditure including interface with the planning, delivery, asset skill and resources, and handover of new assets and services.
- Lifecycle planning and related data is captured to make forward budget and renewal decisions.
- Providing services to other branches to assess financial models, lifecycle planning and benchmarking.
