Opportunity:
As our new General Manager, Asset Manager you will play a key role in our senior management team and be responsible for the role Property Portfolio of over 90 assets, leading and managing all minor capital works.
You will also:
- Lead and manage Asset Management for the whole portfolio (Residential aged Care, Retirement living, Homecare Office and other ad hoc assets).- Be responsible for Minor capital, refurbishment works & painting program.- Manage the safety and compliance of all property assets and monitor compliance with policies, procedures and guidelines on a continuous basis ensuring risks are appropriately managed.- Responsible for the Contractor management system (Rapid Global) and overseeing the roll out of the new Asset Management system.- Implement and improve Property policies and procedures and provide strategic input on the Property portfolio.- Update and engage the Executive in all areas, including board presentations.
You must have:
- Minimum 5 years in a similar position, preferably within Residential and Retirement Aged Care.- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and to consider and present viable options from a commercial perspective.-
- Experience in managing team members, providing a high level of support.- Demonstrated high level knowledge of the Health and/or Aged Care sectors including funding protocols and legislative standards and compliance requirements.-
- Current Australian Drivers Licence and access to a comprehensively insured motor vehicle.
