Strategic Asset Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Ministry of Health's Efficiency Improvement and Support Team, System Sustainability & Performance Division. As a Strategic Asset Manager, you will play a critical role in managing relationships with local health districts, pillars and shared services to ensure NSW Health's efficiency improvement program expectations are met.

About The Role
  • You will support health entities by providing expertise, advice and guidance on financial and operational strategies.
  • You will conduct quality assurance reviews, analysis and reporting of Efficiency Improvement Plans, focusing on strategic asset management and sustainability.
  • You will develop and manage strong relationships with all health entities and ensure ongoing accountability and commitment to the Efficiency Improvement Program.
  • You will identify and promote efficiency improvement program learnings and ideas across NSW Health.
  • You will provide benchmarking services, performance analysis and service review support, as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You should have extensive experience managing a portfolio of stakeholders with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • You should have strong ability to influence, negotiate and communicate proficiently on challenging issues.
  • You should have strong judgement, analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to deal with complex and sensitive matters.
  • You should have experience in continual process improvements and demonstrated record in effecting change and improvements to reporting and business systems and processes.
