**The opportunity**

We are looking for Someone who is passionate about owning each customer interaction and going the extra mile to help. You will need to have a great personality and a knack for problem solving, as this role requires you to be customer focused and approachable.

In this role, you will be in direct contact with our customers onboard our bus services and in the wider community. Although this role will involve travelling across a variety of locations in Melbourne, the central hub is based in North Melbourne where you will report to for shift sign on/off.

**This is a fixed term role for 9 months to cover one of our team member's maternity leave.**

**You will be involved in**
- Providing high quality customer service and assistance to passengers travelling on bus services
- Answering questions and educating customers about MYKI and the bus network to ensure a positive public transport experience
- Enhancing passenger and driver security by maintaining a visible presence on board bus services and bus stations in the operating area
- Engaging with our local communities and support networks to grow an understanding of the network and encourage local uses and to promote the service offerings

- Knowledge of local area and the Melbourne public transport network
- Available to work as part of a 24/7 rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Hold a full Car licence and have access to own transport
- Conflict resolution skills and the ability to remain calm and deescalate situations
