A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a People & Culture Coordinator to join the WEM team. Based in Norwest Business Park (Bella Vista) and reporting to the People & Culture Manager this role provides general administrative support to the People & Culture Team, as well as maintaining HR systems and providing first level HR support and advice to our employees.

**In this position, you’ll be**:

- Providing accurate and timely administrative support to the People & Culture Team.
- Preparing employee correspondence.
- Working proactively with the business, providing first level advice to employees, and answering queries on HR related matters, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Coordinating the administration process associated with the new starter process, leaver process, probations and other HR functions as required.
- Coordinating and administering learning and development programs in the conjunction with the People & Culture Team.
- Perform HR system data entry, including entering new starter records, contract changes, salary increases, terminations etc.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports to review key HR statistics.
- Assist with Workplace Health & Safety initiatives.
- Assisting the People & Culture team with implementation of HR initiatives and projects.

We are looking for someone who has:

- Administrative experience.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels.
- Ability to build positive working relationships.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
- Good computer skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, HR or industrial relations or currently studying.
- Previous experience working withing an HR environment is beneficial.
